Prophet Nuh عَلَیہِ السَّلام and the Ark

Long ago, Prophet Nuh عَلَیہِ السَّلام lived among people who worshipped idols instead of Allah.

For 950 years he invited them, by day and by night, to worship Allah alone. Only a few people believed.

Allah told Nuh عَلَیہِ السَّلام to build a very big ship. People walked past and laughed at him, but Nuh عَلَیہِ السَّلام kept on building.

Then rain poured from the sky and water burst from the ground. Nuh عَلَیہِ السَّلام, the believers and pairs of animals went aboard, and Allah kept them safe.
