Long, long ago, Allah made the very first human, Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), from clay. Allah breathed life into him and taught him the names of everything around him. Even the angels did not know these names, and they were amazed.
Prophet Adam عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام and the First Sorry

Allah told the angels to bow to Adam to honour him, and they all bowed. But Iblis refused. He said proudly, "I am better than him!" Because of his pride, Iblis became Shaytan, the enemy of people.

Adam (pbuh) and his wife Hawwa lived in a beautiful garden in Jannah. They could eat anything they liked, except from one tree. Shaytan whispered to them again and again, until one day they forgot and ate from that tree.

Adam (pbuh) and Hawwa felt very sorry at once. They did not make excuses or blame anyone. They turned to Allah and said sorry with all their hearts, and Allah, the Most Forgiving, forgave them.

Then Allah sent Adam (pbuh) and Hawwa to live on the earth. Adam became the first prophet, and he taught his children to worship Allah. All people in the world are the children of Adam (pbuh).

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakunanna minal-khasirin
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be losers. (Quran 7:23)
